Dragonfly plans to introduce its flagship mobile game to the Vietnamese market in the third quarter of 2020. At the same time, it is moving to create great synergy with Vietnam's leading major game publisher.

Dragonfly has completed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Vietnam's large game publisher VTC GAME for game publishing and cooperation in May 2020. It plans to work with VTC GAME to introduce "Special Force M," a mobile game that will drive Dragonfly's 2020 performance.

VTC GAME is an affiliate of Vietnam's broadcasting, portal and general entertainment conglomerate Vietnam Multimedia Corporation, a leading company serving global hit games to the Vietnamese market with a vast database of users of more than 16 million.

The MOU gives Dragonfly a huge opportunity in Vietnam, which has rapidly emerged as a major market in Southeast Asia, boasting 33 million users and 500 billion won (some $409 million) in annual sales.

In particular, the Vietnamese game market is highly regulated and there are many hurdles for foreign companies to enter the country. Through cooperation with VTC GAME, Dragonfly expects to achieve the feat of bringing its mobile games as well as even superior PC online games to the local market.

Special Force M, which will target the Vietnamese market in cooperation with VTC GAME, is a perfect mobile transplantation of Dragonfly's popular PC online game Special Force, which is scheduled to be launched in July with the Philippine and Thai markets at the forefront.

It introduces all the systems and contents of the original Special Force and allows mobile game users to feel the natural joy of PC online games. Currently, more than 1 million users in the Philippines and Thailand are actively responding and waiting for the game to be launched.

Park In-chan, CEO of Dragonfly, said, "Special Force M is a highly anticipated work to boost Dragonfly's performance in 2020. This collaboration with VTC is very encouraging in that it can greatly increase its chances of success in the Vietnamese market.

"Through close cooperation between the two companies, we will do our best to ensure that Dragonfly's mobile games, including Special Force M, will bear fruit in Vietnam, which has great potential based on a population of 100 million. This will create an opportunity for Dragonfly to make a leap forward in 2020."
