Both Hyundai Motor and its affiliate Kia Motors have cracked the top 10 of Consumer Reports’ 2015 Annual Auto Reliability Survey.
According to Consumer Reports’ 2015 Annual Auto Reliability Survey, Kia finished sixth, the highest ranking Kia has ever received in that survey, two notches above Honda (8th place).
On October 20, Hyundai and Kia said that the two climbed four notches each to finish 6th and 9th in the 2015 Annual Auto Reliability Survey.
Of the total 28 auto brands surveyed, Kia was included in the top 7 “Most Reliable” group while Hyundai belongs to the Reliable Group (8th-15th).
It is the first time for the two automakers to make it into the top 10 simultaneously. It is of great significance that Kia has reached its highest-ever ranking in the survey, beating Japan’s Honda for the first time.
