S-OIL, led by CEO Hussain Al-Qahtani, delivered 50 million won in scholarship to Mapo Talent Fostering Scholarship Foundation on Oct. 11. The S-OIL fund will be delivered to students from low-income families through the foundation as the S-Oil Sunshine Sharing Scholarship.
"Education opens the way for young people to express their potential, seize opportunities and create their own future," said S-OIL's Management Support Division Director Sun Jin-young. "We hope that the S-OIL Sunshine Sharing Scholarship will help students who do not lose their dreams and hopes despite difficult conditions."
When S-OIL first constructed its office and moved into Gongdeok-dong in Mapo in 2011, it is promoting various activities such as free cultural arts performance, cultural events and supports for low-income families on the last Wednesday of every week to practice sharing with neighbors as a member of the community.
